A native of Nassau County, Richard Coleman graduated from Western New England College of Law in 1977. He has both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from New York University.
In addition to belonging to the New York State bar since 1978, Mr. Coleman was admitted to the US District Court, Eastern and Sourthern Districts in 1978. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association,New York State Trial Lawyers Association and Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Coleman has a "AV" rating for Client/Peer Review by Martindale-Hubbell, indicating that he meets very high criteria of general ethical standards.
For over 40 years, Mr. Coleman has been practicing in personal injury representing individuals who are victims of auto collisions, bicycle accidents, trips and falls, slips and falls, dog and animal bites and construction accidents.
Since 1980, Mr. Coleman has maintained his law practice in the Massapequas, New York. He has tried numerous jury trial cases and takes cases all the way to trial, if necessary. Because of that,he has garnered the respect of insurance representatives and defense attorneys.

Thomas Mele
Tom Mele began his career serving in the United States Navy in 1974.  By 1976 Tom served with the N.I.S. Unit, "Drug Undercover Enforcement".  Upon discharge, Tom worked with many investigative agencies dealing with insurance fraud investigations.  In 1995 Mr. Mele began studying all aspects of soft tissue injury, attending dozens of C.L.E. courses, and working side by side with multi-discipline medical centers.
Studying and understanding insurance company strategies to minimize compensation to their insured, and/or individuals that were severely hurt as a result of another individual’s negligence.  By the end of 2001, Mr. Mele began to negotiate insurance claims for many personal injury law firms in the tri-state area and is now one of the top negotiators in New York.  Tom was admitted to the New York Trial Lawyers Association whose goals are to promote a safer and healthier society, to assure access by those who are wrongfully injured to the civil justice system, and to advance public representation by ethical "WELL TRAINED LAWYERS".
